What a fantastic design, i have tried many stands from all major and not so major brands. These are very durable and adjustable, can pick up the stand with cymbal on it from behind the kit and move around yet very sturdy. Sure if you are death metal blast beat guy it maybe a poor choice but otherwise it is great. TAMA nailed it. Great suggestion Mr Erskine!. It lightened my hardware bag and looks retro slick. This cymbal stand is a very near exact copy of a Ludwig 1400 flat base stand like the ones ringo used. With the exception of the wing bolts which are much better it matches exactly and is perfect for those seeking to restore a vintage ludwig kit from the 60s.Read full review

Very light but works

I just used the light cymbal stand for an outside gig. I mounted my 20” ride cymbal and it seemed strong and stable. I had no issues. I’m not sure how well it would work with hard hit crash cymbals.Read full review

vintage style- reimagined

Well-designed and very lightweight. Very similar to the vintage Ludwig flat base stand with the solid top section. Price seems a tad high for such a simple straight stand but I guess you are paying for the convenience of less bulk to carry around. I'd like it much better at a price of $39.99 instead of $59.99. You can buy the Tama Stagemaster single braced stand for about $45.00 and it is actually a bit more sturdy, versatile and practical while still being lightweight.Read full review
