Great potential not used

This game had a lot of potential. The war with the strogg is interesting and telling the story of how it began could've been a blast. Instead we get a Battlefield knock off. Now don't get me wrong this isn't necessarilly a bad thing, just leaves a lot undone.

On easy it's too easy and on hard some of the maps (singleplayer) are almost impossible to accomplish. Your allies AI leaves a lot to be deired. The battles are fun though.

If you like mindless shooters with some objectives to accomplish, then this is your game. If you like a game with a deep storyline, then look somewhere else.

i like the produt

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (ET:QW) is a first-person shooter video game, and is the follow-up to Quake 4. It is set in the same science fiction universe as Quake II and Quake 4, with a minimal back-story serving as a prequel to Quake II. It is the second multiplayer-focused game in the Quake series (after Quake III Arena). Quake Wars features similar gameplay to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but with the addition of controllable vehicles and aircraft as well as multiple AI deployables,[11] asymmetric teams, much larger maps and the option of computer-controlled bots. Unlike the previous Enemy Territory games, Quake Wars is a commercial release rather than a free download.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars was developed by Splash Damage for Windows using a modified version of id Software's id Tech 4 engine with MegaTexture rendering technology. It was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 27, 2008.[12] On March 18, 2008, Aspyr Media released the title for Mac OS X.[5]

good game

i like this game a lot, so ill give it 5 stars. its appealing to a certain genre of gamers, but in genreral its a great game. the multiplayer is its strongest point because you need certain classes of people to do certain things to win. the 2 sides, the strogg and the GDF (Global Defense Force), are pretty evenly matched with their weapons and vehicles, and theres plenty of maps to keep any type of gamers entertained. i recommend this game to everyone.Read full review...

Excellent Product at a great item price.

Excellent Product at a great item price. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars pits the armies of Earth against the invading alien Strogg in an online strategic shooter. Players choose to battle as one of five unique classes in either the EDF (Earth Defense Force -- humans) or the barbaric alien Strogg armies. Troops use 40+ conventional and futuristic vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems like quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed progress and gain a tactical advantage over the enemy.Read full review...

a game you will wish they made more of

Fun game, i remember playing it when I was young. Basically it's a fast paced 3rd person shooter. The ai's are pretty good in this game. The objective is to capture or defend the objective, if captured the objective must be disarmed. Think of rush in battlefield. There's 3 objectives if the enemy captures all 3 game overRead full review...

Like it!

Good game! Action packed without use of language whatsoever. Easily rivals the Star Wars Battle Front Series. Awesome game play, and amazing classes.

Good game...

Too bad it's not as fast and frenetic as Quake 3 Arena ...
I expected something more like that of a classic due to the good work done with the Quake 3 Arena ...
But anyway, it's still a good game ...Read full review...
