Nice upgrade using a Xeon E5 V4 to replace an I7 of the same vintage.

It was $25 and used in a $49 X99 MB to replace a +10 year old HP MB with and I7 6880.
I could even use the DDR4 used in the HP.

Simple replacement.
Probably about twice as fast running winders 7 and all the software. Read full review

Excellent CPU choice for X99 systems
