80mph shakes are gone now on 40” tires Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2007 four-door Jeep Wrangler upgraded 44/60 axles with big brakes and 40” mud tires. When my tires were new I had zero vibration but with age they developed shimmy at 75-80 mph. It is difficult to balance wheels that way 160 pounds so static weights didn’t work out. I heard of mixed reviews regarding balance and needs some better than others some worse but my experience with these are positive. Balancing beads work great on a smooth highway after about 30 seconds it becomes smooth obviously they don’t work for a rough roads because it tosses the beads all over the place but if you’re doing constant highway driving I highly recommend it. Now I can drive from Los Angeles to the high Sierras and further such as Utah Moab, rubicon trail; and not worry that the shaking would prematurely wear joints and bushings.Read full review

not really BEADS

Just so other buyers know. What I found was this is NOT 'beads" at all. More closely resembles fine sand or table sugar. How well it works vs the larger 'beads' is yet to be determined. well never heard of balance bead before but sure they were in my last set of tires...cause see no weights on rims...when good year said it be they might use balance beads i look all over youtube...every one seems to like them...so i put them in my new toyo tires myself and i tell you what it rides like a dream...
