disappointed
It's hard to purchase something just by viewing photos. I had no way of knowing that this blender is so tall that it doesn't fit under the cabinets when I try to store it on the counter between uses.
I've used Black & Decker blenders before. This one crushes ice cubes in my protein drinks, but leaves hunks of banana. Go figure.
It is also VERY LOUD. Scares the dog, who is used to daily blender use.

Black and Decker BL10450
This is the second blender from Black and Decker that has failed.
The drive blades (plastic) have shattered and thrown black bits all over the kitchen. The second blender just worked three times and broke. I was just fixing a milk shake when it failed. I will not buy another one until they change the type of drive mechanism.Read full review...
What power!
This is no ordinary blender. With the push of a button, you get power enough to crush ice! Great product!!
Contemporary look with a strong motor..
Black & Decker is known for their products. They are usually strong & last a very long time, so this purchase was a no brainer....
