Appleseed EX-MACHINA is a story of Dunan and Briarios her cyborg E-SWAT PARTNER who patrol the city of OLYMPUS against terrorists and corrupt Bioroids who are humans created by scientists in the future to be perfect in every way, but some can become corrupted with emotions and hatred against mankind. The movie is helmed by director Shinji Aramaki and JOHN WOO, so you know theres going to be some slo-mo bullet time action and martial arts sequences, This is high quality CGI- ANIMATION, STUNNING. I love this movie! This brilliant film is a amazing continuation of the computer animated AppleSeed movies. Would fully recommend for anyone that like sci-fi action packed films.

thought-provoking and action-packed

Love this movie! It really should be viewed in 1080p on a Blu-ray disc! If not, the cell shading CGI rendering is not done Justice! A very compelling story that should have more sequels afterward.

Great Anime Series

This is a great anime series I kept watching since the late 80s. The visuals get better and better on every movie.

I've always liked the Appleseed series. This one is a must have for HD anime lovers. I felt it wasn't as good as the first 2004 Appleseed, but nice to look at none the less. I was expecting more with John Woo involved, but it is still a good buy as I enjoyed it emensely.Read full review...
