Fun game, easy controls, great graphics, Avoid Glitch!!

I bought this game because I love the old Tomb Raider games. I rented it first, but ran into a huge glitch and didn't have time to start the game over. That is a definite drawback. The glitch I found happened I think in about the middle of the game. I did some research and it turns out this can happen in every copy and version of the game. Not great programming on their part. But I decided that as long as there was a way to avoid glitching it out, which there is, I'd like to keep playing the game. I was able to find a solution online on how to avoid the glitch (it involves taking one path first before going down another) but since I saved my game after it bugged out I unfortunately have to start over completely.

The graphics are really well done. I love all the exotic places Lara goes to. The puzzles are pretty straight forward, though that is not to say they aren't challenging, and if you're totally stumped there's an in-game hint you can look at in the menu. The controls were easy to master, and the action is smooth. Definitely a fun game.

Tomb Raider Underworld Wii versión, excellent!!

Well, if you have a Wii, you only have to take every opportunity of the console and is a good opportunity to buy this game.

In my particular pleasure in the game is short compared to past versions, but in visual effects and improvements worth having it. Especially if you're a fan of Lara, as usual you have to save all the extra rewards to enjoy the game as clothing and weapons.

New Lara moves and more athletic than the previous version make it more interesting to my Concept. It is an excellent adventure game and a magnificent photograph. If you love teens and armed rough is the game for You. Just Enjoy!!!!

Circlular frustration

This franchise still has yet to come up with something like the Tomb Raider for gamecube. It used to be fun and exiting. Now this and Anniversary are just filled with wondering in circles and hidden passage ways. The hints are as evident as ...to get to my car try to walk across the street. Their not hints they're useless. If you don't have hours to commit to this game don't waist any time on it. Oh and if you don't like reading, don't bother with this title because you'll need to read a lot from the strategy guide to get to one stage to the next. I rented it Monday and sending back wednesday... I gave it a chance but after pulling levers for half an hour I got bored wit a freakin giant squid starin me down.Read full review...

Utter Disappointment

I'm not a particularly picky person when it comes to games. However, I was very disappointed when I played this game. One of the biggest problems with the Wii today is that they've incorporated the Nunchuck shaking and Wiimote movement to every game. Instead of the game being fun and innovative, the puzzles become tedious and the constant shaking and movements become irritating.

There were about 15 monsters in the game, total. There were no bosses. All the puzzles are changed from the other systems (360, PS3, and PC) in order to make it a "Wii Exclusive." The whole game is a bunch of puzzles and platforms. They aren't good puzzles either. The puzzles are sometimes really hard and a lot of them make no sense. I've played Tomb Raiders before, and I must say that this one is a far poorer quality.

I have yet to test the game on the other consoles, but as for the "Wii edition" of Underworld? Don't bother.

Tomb Raider Underworld for Wii - Very great!

I bought this game a few weeks ago before I bought "Tomb Raider Anniversary", for Wii. I very like "Tomb Raider Anniversary" and I decided to bought this item, too.
The graphics is very cool and the history is great but I feel that's a little long and I was tired after a few time after use remote control to fire. The commands and movements to Lara are impressive and very easy; I like very much. The levels (fases) itself are very interesting and I had to gave some efforts to solve some of them.
This is a great game just a little long. I'm not sad to bought it and I'm vey anxious about other Tomb Raider game.

Not as good as expected.

This solely applies to the Wii version. While the graphics are much improved, the actual adventure is a bit lame. There are lot's of jumping and wall climbing, but the battles are nothing compared to previous Tomb Raider adventures. There are no section bosses to defeat. I really didn't find it much of a challenge. I'll go back and play Anniversary any time, rather than play this again. The new Lara is great looking, but I recommend against this Underworld Raider.Read full review...
