Excellent replacement for my old Sony that died. Even looks similar.

My old Sony would no longer power up and I needed a replacement to play/record LP's to be digitized. This receiver is an excellent replacement and even looks and operates similarly. I especially like the push speaker connectors - a lot better than the Sony's screw terminals; same for the antenna connections that have both 300 and 76 Ω connections. Cannot go wrong with any Onkyo product. I have several and have never been disappointed. I bought this receiver specifically because it was 60W per channel and I was powering Boston Acoustics A60s, so it was a perfect match. Added a powered subwoofer to the B speaker inputs and it is perfect for my home office.Read full review
