I was looking at an alternative to a completely new stereo system that would cost hundreds and still not have all the versatility I was wanting.
Tried the Grom and I'm totally impressed. Install was well documented and fairly easy. Much easier than any new stereo install. And everything works awesome. Hands free phone, steering wheel control, Bluetooth, music from phone, and charging (with optional cable.) Well worth the money and I feel much better knowing my daughter can use the hands free and steering wheel controls to keep more focused on driving. Read full review...

Very good product but could be better
Works well, easy to install, good audio quality. Included microphone is easy to mount and seems to sound good at all speeds.
It would be nice if the price were a bit lower or the unit included some extras like USB in or AUX in.
It does have some slight high frequency sound feedback/interference at high volumes with music paused. Nothing major, and might be eliminated by repositioning. Read full review...

Great thing, but be careful installing it!
I’ve got 2002 Volvo XC70 with HU-613 radio. The GROM adapter is a finding, fairly easy to install, works great, seek buttons on the steering wheel work great with the iPhone 6s. The only thing you should be aware of is how to properly instal it. In the installation guide it written that they recommend to unplug the car battery before any work to the electronics done, so it should be written YOU MUST UNPLUG the battery, otherwise you will get SRS-airbag service urgent warning on the dash. It happens if you unplug the climate control module with battery plugged in. Well, if you get into such a situation then don’t get too upset, find a local Volvo specified repair shop and they will reset the code for something around 40$ (may be less or more) and you are all set with beautiful media system without any “ugly solutions”!Read full review...
