Great quality. Don't be fooled by cheaper model rod holders

You can find cheaper model rod holders but if you need one with strength, that will hold up to rigorous trolling, big fish, high speed trolling, deep dropping, or others where these will receive stress, buy this model. I had several cheaper models and they are only tack welded and the welds broke vey quickly. This one is welded all around the "neck" where it flush mounts to the gunnel.
