I have used this a few times now and it works great, the only part I do not like is the 1/2 and 3/4 cutters need a nut on the bottom end which is supplied but when working in a live panel it is an extra part that can fall into bad places, I have cut a 1 inch hole in a panel that also has the rain hood on it so double thick and it worked fineRead full review...

Good tool. Bad carrying box.

This unit does a great job punching holes. Cuts through junction box walls like butter.
It seems to be well built. Shipping was fast.
My complain is with the carrying box: no compartments for the fittings nor the tool. It is just a rectangular box.
That's a big deal for me and enough reason to take two stars from the rating. Harbor freight sells the same tool at around the same price, but it comes with a molded carrying case that fits everything snugly.

It is a nice piece, but I am glad I know a little bit about hydraulic Punches. A newby would be lost. There are no instructions on how to use it, and what to do to make it work. Poorly manufactured

This knockout set is made of cheap steel, the dies in the case were shipped with the cutting edge down in the cup which dulled and chipped the cutting edges. Also the tool is in a metal case but packed in styrofoam inside that is all broken apart and the box is dented up and barely closes with the pump in the case. I have not used yet but seems poorly made compared to other ko sets I’ve used!!Read full review...
