It's a heavy machine but helps to incorporate ingredients very well in a matter of minutes.

I've wanted a stand mixer for a very long time. I like to bake and was using a hand held mixer for all of my baking needs. The stand mixer is fast and easy and take very little energy to whip up a cookie dough, etc. and the ingredients are mixed up well in a matter of minutes. Read full review...

Wimpy wimpy wimpy

I have one of the originals of this same machine dating back to the 70s that I use mostly for bread. It is a beast. This newer one, stalls and squeaks when I make a loaf of bread with over 2 cups of flour, which is disappointing and disconcerting. It arrived without a bread hook which I had to track down and order separately. I’m hoping this new one will not die. I like to make my own breads, doughs, pie crusts, and scones which are heavy and thick. If I wanted to make cake batter and whipped cream , I would have just stuck with a hand mixer.Read full review...

Been Waiting For A Long Time For You To Come Into My Life!!

Have always wanted a Kitchen-Aid and thanks to E-bay finally found one that was affordable. Do tons of baking so this has been a godsend! Bought the flour shield and an extra bowl and will probably add the pasta maker and meat grinder. Plenty of power, fantastic piece of equipment!!Read full review...

Workhorse of an appliance

This is a workhorse of an appliance if you bake regularly. The dough hook works fine on bread doughs ONLY in the low power positions (my husband burned out the motor with my first mixer doing this, decades ago.) We have used the accessories to grind meat for homemade sausage. It is big and heavy and takes up counter space. I store mine in the pantry with a cover because I have a small kitchen.Read full review...

A dream come true

I have wanted a Kitchenaid for so long and I finally decided to dive in and get one. This machine is much quieter than my previous mixer. It does an excellent job mixing soft batter and cookie dough. I haven't tried bread dough yet. The glossy enamel finish looks good in the kitchen. I look forward to collecting the attachments to expand it's capabilities. The only thing I miss from my old machine is the mixing timer. If I had to mix cake batter for 2 minutes or knead dough for ten I could set the timer. I was free to work on something else and the mixer would shut off automatically. I recommend the addition of the scraper beater. To eliminate the need to stop the machine and scrape the sides. Overall I am very pleased with the performance and appearance of my Kitchenaid. And, thanks to the deal I got on E-Bay, I got a good price as well. Read full review...

kitchen aid classic

this mixer is absolutely the best on the market, I have had many other mixers and none can compare to the quality and durability of kitchen aid mixers, don't let the price scare you away you get what you pay for and this mixer will last you a lifetime, also the fact that you can purchase additional attachments such as a meat grinder,a pasta roller/cutter,and even a grain mill makes it all the better.Read full review...

Great counter top mixer

The Kitchen Aid Classic Plus mixer is a terrific machine with great versatility. The 275 watt motor gives that extra power for dough making. Easy to use and to clean too.

Great Purchase

This is the best item I've ever bought on ebay, and I've bought nearly 700 items. I use this no less than three times a week. It's well built unlike the newer models with all plastic gears that break down in just a couple of years. Mine is well over 30 maybe even 40 years old depending who you ask and works like a charm. I can't find one thing bad to say about my KitchenAid K45SS Classic Stand Tilt Mixer 250 Watt 10-Speed that came with 3 Attachments & Bowl. I would tell anyone who wants one to buy this type. I've made cakes, bread dough, pizza dough, pie fillings.

Mixer Delight!

I received this mixer in excellent secure packaging. Being a vintage item I was very pleased at how clean the unit was. Operations with the mixer are seamless and the attachments are the same high quality as the Hobart Kitchen Aid Mixer. I highly recommend this seller for quality, accurate description of item being sold and very fast ship.Read full review...

KitchenAid mixer

This was one of the first things I purchased when I became single again. I have a deep fondness for homemade Toll House cookies, but one of the problems associated with them is mixing the ingredients. It is like trying to stir half dried concrete! Enter the KitchenAid! This bad boy could probably power a yacht if you had a long enough cord. One of the attachments is a beater shaped like a leaf. It rotates clockwise as the head holding it turns counterclockwise giving you double mixing with each revolution. Made short work of of mixing the toll house batter. The head has a locking lever which when released allows the mixer to raise up out of the way to either add ingredients or to remove the stainless steel bowl that locks on the base. Makes cleaning it very simple. Mine also came with a hook attachment that I assume you would use making bread and a whip type beater for whipping ingredients. This is a heavy mixer that will not bounce around on your counter. My grandmother had one, my mother had one, my ex has one, and now I have one. So many attachments you can add, service just about anywhere, although I don't expect it to give me any problems if it behaves like the other 3 I mentioned earlier. Not cheap, but the quality is second to none.Read full review...
