Stands are ACTUALLY STURDY (Proffesional!)

I've orded a lot of cheap lighting kits, and i'll tell you what, anyone on a budget get these- NOT those flimsy, crappy little stands you get with other lights, seriously, was worth the price just for the two stands, and the lights/softboxes, AWESOME [6 year film making] I know my Pro Gear, my cheap gear and this is PROSUMER GRADE GEAR!!!!Read full review...

. Pros.
Well built. Tubing is large diameter and heavy. Spring-loaded columns. Large spread on the legs. Large clamp screws. The halfway diffuser works great. Individual switches for each light.r>Con.
Took me a while to figure out how to assemble the hoods. I have another studio light set and those hoods were a breeze. This one - not so much. So - only 4 stars.

Best starter lights around

I was SUPER skeptical about this product but decided to risk the $50 on it as I was in need of some soft lighting for my projects. This is by far the greatest value i found when it came to this. I planned on building my own with some 250W LED's but i could not have done better than this. Build quality is an A- as a couple fittings that are aluminum and plastic could have benefited from being a more solid metal. The only other complaint is the sheets come very wrinkly but I steamed them out and they are doing a lot better. I recommend these lights for a starter photographer any day.Read full review...
