useless--no batteries available

Do not buy this charger unless you already have the special old style magnetic rechargeable batteries for it. They are no longer made. I contacted the company and they are not made anywhere and cannot be purchased anywhere. The charger does not work with regular rechargeable Wii batteries.

Save your money from the Batterties

I like that its charge last long
it last me at least 2 or 3 days on a day long playing
i recommend this item

although it has its ups and downs

sometimes its tough to make it charge,
the aluminum has to be clean, and make sure
the blue light last long and not couple of seconds

also, the grip can be sometime annoying,
as it can't be use for the Wii Zapper or other stuff
but you can remove it anyway, it wont affect anything at all..

i recommend it because the rechargable batteties last long
and those double A batteties die so quick on the Wii Remotes

NYKO WII CHARGE STATION DUAL CHARGER

One of the best wii chargers i have had to date, smart charging feature, light goes green and settles to trickle charge so battery packs dont get ruined. Plugs in to regular ac outlet so you dont have to waste a wii usb port for charging. Have tried two of the cheaper overseas versions made in china both had battery failure after only 3 months. and sellers just ignored emails after that issue, i highly recomend the nyko product line, so far it has proven superior. And so far i can find no negative isssues to list with it.

UPDATE: Well so far the Nyko charge station has turned out to be one of the best after market chargers and rechargeable battery sets i have bought to date, still working perfectly, played metroid for over 36 hours straight and still had 2 bars on controller, "I definately recomend this item for any WII owner, it is a perfect addition to your WII collection!!! MY RATING 1 BEING WORST TO 10 BEING EXCEPTIONAL I GIVE THIS ITEM A 12. Many happy playing hours to all, Hope this review helps you out. (wish nyko was hooking me up with a few bucks for supporting there products, but you can't have everything i guess lol) Put that in so you know im giving you a total impartial view.

Nyko Wii Charger works like a charm.

It's definitely worth your money if you own a Wii U and plan to play Original Wii games on it, with a rechargeable battery.

Worth every penny

We've had one of these for a couple of years and it has saved us a lot on replacing batteries, and it also helps eliminate disposal of all those batteries. Unfortunately, our batteries reached the end of their life and it is very difficult to buy just the batteries now. For the price of two replacement rechargeable batteries we were able to purchase the entire package. Highly recommend it if you are still using the older wii. Nyko Charge Station (87000) for Nintendo Wii

I love it. I don't know if I could tolerate changing batteries so often. I bought 1 last year, and loved it so much, bought another one this year. (enough for 4 remotes). This unit has a fast charge time, and the batteries last forever on 1 charge. Nyko Charge Station for Nintendo Wii

I bought this charger for my Nintendo Wii remotes so that I can stop going through AA batteries. It works great and it's even a nice stand to store the remotes when I'm not using them.
