A unique take on the Big Chap

This figure is one of my favorites in my collection. Even among the much bigger and more expensive ones. SH Monsterarts very accurately details and articulated this Big Chap model. Much of the reviews focus on the dome being too clear for most peoples taste...I LOVE it! It's different enough to make this piece worth adding to anyones collections but movie accurate enough where there's no doubt this is the alien we all know and love. The clear dome in my eyes is a plus. The detailing underneath is amazing and I think they really wanted to showcase the artwork. The articulation is beyond amazing. And with the stand and base you can pose the Big Chap from crouching, jumping, kneeling or my personal favorite..standing in the fetal position like in the movie.

If you want a good big chap, this is a good alternative

Even thought the head dome is too clear and some proportions are off, nevertheless it is a good representation of the monster from the 1979 movie alien, but I recommend that you paint the dome a give the figure itself a paint job as the color itself looks pretty bland.Read full review...
