Excellent way to bring a second wind to an outdated platform.

Xeon processors are server grade. This one in particular is near the top end of the 771 socket. I would high recommend this to anyone looking to mod their old 775 socket motherboard. This has the latest stepping for this generation(E0), but it has it's drawbacks.

-It has a TDP of 120W and may not be suitable for all older boards.
-FSB of 1300mhz
-45nm architecture
-Old (mine wasn't stable at stock speed and voltage because degradation over time.)Read full review
