Exact match to repair my relative's PC

Well, The Board is a qualiti design board from intel, Verry stable iff you know how to setup the bios. For a greater szabillity, use 1997 version of bios upgrade, and disable the watchdog. Watchdog is responsible for board unstabillity. Intel still did not prepare a biso upgrade to resolve the problem.Read full review...

Not many good LGA775 Boards Left

I previously purchased a new Intel DP43BFL as I had an extra LGA775 Dual Core processor laying around. I have several LGA775 computers that I have built for my family and myself, and like the option of being able to reuse them and not have to buy new CPU's for the new boards with a couple of different sockets. Finding a good stable board was tough after reading review after review. The new DP43BFL would not work with DDR3 memory more than 4GB. This board will handle 8GB of DDR3 memory. Passed Memtest 86+ and Prime 95 stress testing. If I had to buy a new CPU, I would wait for the new Sandy Bridge repaired motherboards and get a Sandy Bridge CPU.Read full review...

Excellent board and runs Windows 7 64-bit beautifully with no problems.

This DX48BT2 runs windows 7 Professional 64-bit really fast. I had no issues with running any applications. Also, one reviewer said that they have problems running the QX9750 processor with this motherboard, but the QX9750 processor is not listed by Intel as compatible with this board, the QX9770 and the QX9650 are compatible and run really well. And the Intel® Desktop Control Center that you can download from Intel is really neat and it runs on Windows 7 64-bit.Read full review...

In series of LGA 775 motherboard, at least very good

Great motherboard. I was amazed that the PC was able to run on the basis of the further installation - never happened before. The motherboard works like in my best dreams. No start up and other issues counter with previous Asus P5e deluxe. Very satisfied having made the replacement with this motherboard.Read full review...

STAY AWAY

Good seller, who is not to blame for this product. I'm glad Intel is getting out of the mother board business. They are bad at it! They gave up on this one 1/2 way through development 5 years ago. Buy AMD boards with AMD chipset, it just works as intended. Even if you overclock AMD is simple and straight up. QX9750 on this MB with required RAM and latest bios, and still this gives trouble.Read full review...

Outdated Board, but still a good buy.

The DX48BT2 is a good motherboard, but lacks drivers for Windows 7 and 8. Drivers can be downloaded for Windows 7, but the board is no longer supported, so future drivers are in question. Otherwise, a good board.Read full review...
