Webkinz Bats are AWESOME

I purchased a webkinz bat for my daughter and when she laid eyes on it she FLIPPED! They are ADORABLE, there is nothing menacing or threatening about the look of them. When we received the bat, our seller had wrapped it's wings around it like it was hugging its self - that was just the start of the love affair haha!

It has some sort of wire-like material along the top of it's wings so they are posable however it's WELL padded and nothing stiff. It doesn't feel like there's ANY possibility of whatever material they used to make the wings posable is going to break or come out of the padding it's encased in (poke out of the doll) under any normal circumstance. It also has soft rounded "fangs" there's nothing threatening about the doll. It's very cute... not too cute for a boy and not too scary for a girl.

The virtual version of the bat, on webkinz world, is also awesome. It's food is a type of fruit smoothie. There's nothing "vampire-ish" or horror show about the doll or it's virtual version. It's a fruit bat! It flys around online and it's really a great addition to any webkin family.

I strongly suggest if you are a webkin fan and have the opportunity to do so, GET THE BAT!! They are really too fun to go without one :) . They're non-threatening, fruit eating, friendly, the doll is safe, the virtual pet is cute and... IT FLYS. Flying pets rule haha.

I have yet to find anything negative about our experience with the bat. My daughter is afraid of the dark and monsters and such. She isn't afraid of the bat - I sprung it on her without warning and she was thrilled as I have said. I can't see a scenario where a child would be unhappy with receiving this webkin as a pet.

Ganz Webkinz Bat Plush

This is a medium sized plush with velvet wings and ears, and a textured fur body. I expected the body to be softer. I purchased this for my husband. He thinks the fabrics are soft enough for his liking. I bought this Webkinz bat for my daughter,13. She still loves her Webkinz because they are not just stuffed animals, but have loads of personality built in. By the way, she has 129 of these rascals. When I saw this one for sale, I knew she did not have it yet and that it looked adorable yet like it was up to something. This item was absolutely that and more. Lifelike and spooky

I had been looking for the webkinz bat for over a year and was so happy to find it on e-bay for such a GREAT price.It arrived very quickly and in excellent condition! It made a spooky addition to my Halloween decorations! I was a big Dark Shadows fan back in the 70's so naturally I named him Barnabas-after Barnabas Collins -the vampire star of the show!It is very realisitic looking and I love how you can pose the wings!Read full review...

The Webkinz Bat

My daughter has wanted the webkinz bat since we saw it over a year ago. We didn't buy it then and I regretted that decision. I finally found it on ebay. The bat was in mint condition and my daughter fell in love with it. It is one of the few webkinz that flies and thus opens the door for more activity on the website.
