flawed but not too shabby
I have a couple issues with this Legacy Collection Rocketeer figure, but this is likely to be the only good likeness of the character for some time, or perhaps ever (at least at this price point). The pros are an excellent all-around sculpt, good paint apps, and generally good screen accuracy. The main drawback to me is the articulation being not quite as robust as I'd like, particularly in the arms which could have benefitted from a swivel cut in the bicep or side-to-side motion at the elbows. The wrists theoretically rotate, but on the first figure I purchased, the peg snapped off after a mere quarter turn. The figure is packaged with the head of the Rocketeer's alter ego Cliff Secord (a good likeness). Removing this head, as I imagine most people will want to display this with the iconic art deco styled helmet, is a bit of a task. The head is on a double-ball joint "barbell" which is comprised of clear hard plastic and seems rather easily breakable. You are also probably going to have to pry this joint piece out with needlenose pliers as it's most likely going to come out with the head. When the Rocketeer helmet is reattached, the neck looks awfully long because of the way the torso is constructed. The extended "rudder" on the helmet will most likely come out of the package with a bend in it, though after several weeks of bending it in the other direction it seems to be fairly straight. The flares on the pants were also a bit bent away from the hips (the jodhpur flares are attached to the thighs but extend past a swivel cut at the hips) on the first figure I purchased, but the second one I received was fine. It's worth noting that the articulation at the hips and legs is far better than the rest of the figure, and is on par with Marvel Legends and other modern action figures. One other minor quibble is the hand doesn't really have a tight enough grip to hold the broomhandle pistol securely, so the pistol tends to sway from slight vibrations or air movement. Despite these grievances, I'd still have to say that this is a great looking figure, and considering Funko's other offerings from the Rocketeer license, this would be the piece to get.Read full review...

Well, maybe
Well, it is a good looking figure and I look forward to taking pictures of it downtown, but the minute I got it the arm broke up which required me to go back on so now it doesn't bend at the elbow. Which is fine I guess. And I also made sure that I at least got the joints really warm and hot water before event them because I had a feeling they would snap right away.Read full review...

Wrong item
Was shipped what looks to be a knock-off with a horrible paint job and missing parts. The packaging doesn’t even come close to matching what is pictured.
