DC Icons Deadman Action Figure

I purchased this Deadman figure for my DC JLD Collection because I liked the overall sculpt, paint apps, articulation, and accessories. The head sculpt is very detailed, painted white with black around the eyes and a black wash on the upper body to bring out the wrinkles on the skin. The body is molded in a dark red, with a lighter red paint on the gloves and boots, and the overall muscle tone is well defined and looks great. The "D" on his midsection is sculpted and painted white and looks very crisp with no over spray.
Articulation: The head is on a ball joint and can look right, left and down slightly. The arms have ball hinge joints, bicep swivels, double hinged elbows, wrist swivels and hinges on the hands. He can rotate at the midsection and has an ab crunch joint, but no waist swivel. Legs have ball joints at the hips, no thigh swivels and double hinged knees, no boot cuff swivels and ankles can pivot and go up and down.
Accessories: The figure comes with fist hands and includes a set of clenched hands and a "Possession Mask" made of a translucent material and painted to look like Deadman's head and upper body, which is placed over other six inch figures to mimic his taking control of them.

When swapping hands the first few times, I recommend running hot water on the figure's wrist joints before attempting to twist and pull the fists out, to lessen the chances of breaking the wrist pegs. I usually put my figures in a small basin of hot (not boiling!) water to loosen up any stiff joints, saves a lot of broken parts that way.
