Atari's Sandlot Sluggers Hits A Homer

If you like playing video sports games, then you need to seriously consider purchasing this game. I purchased mine off Ebay in Feb 2010 for under 10 bucks which includes shipping. I think that is a "Steal"!

Atari did a great job with this game and I really like the fact that you have many different control schemes to choose from. My favorite control scheme is the "Old School" method using just buttons. If you want to use motion control, you are given that option as well, but understand that Wii Sports is far superior using the motion control method. But comparing the two games, it should be noted that Atari's Sandlot Sluggers gives you more control over your players. Not only do you control pitching and batting, but you also control fielding and base running. Sandlot Sluggers does a great job capturing the feel of those backyard baseball games and the art work is incredible. Bought it for the grand kids. It can be used to keep them busy. It also gets them up and moving. We use it on our raining days when the kids can not get out to play. It is not as good as the game on

OK game

It seems like a ok game. I purchased it for my 9yr old son, who has not stopped playing it since he got it. He is happy with it, and that is what matters to me!

great game for my grandsons

my grandsons love this game! they are 5, 8, and 9. they are at the age where baseball and sports are really becoming exciting to them and this game challenges them to be great ball players.
