A Dark Entertaining Movie

Christopher Plummer stars as Dr. Parnassus a man who was approached by the Devil and given the opportunity to gain Immortality and accepted the challenge. Now, after thousands of years, the Dr. is faced with another challenge that involves his daughter. Enter a stranger (Heath Ledger) who could save the Dr.s Daughter.

This movie is very dark, it is not for everyone and definitely not for children. The characters are portrayed in a way that makes some seem very evil and some seem very good, yet being a dark movie all the characters are portrayed in a way that make me think of my nightmares when I was growing up.

It is a very good movie but I can see how some would not care for it.

If you enjoyed Brazil then you would most likely like this movie, if you did not enjoy Brazil then you will not.Read full review...
