Works as good as it looks

This soft shutter release button (all black) is a very nice touch on my black Nikon Df. While it's a little smaller in diameter (11mm) than others I've used, that's OK in this instance, because if it was larger, it would block the view of the on/off index mark on the dial/switch underneath it. Quality is excellent, doesn't look "tacked-on." Some complain that the button comes unscrewed too easily, but that's the nature of the beast, not a fault in the design. The tapered thread, just the same as a mechanical, threaded cable release, is designed for quick-on, quick-off attachment/detachment. Even thread-locking fluids don't do much good with a tapered thread; besides, you need to be able to remove it for cable release use, unless your camera has a socket for an electronic release.Read full review...

Great look, great feel. Best on the market

This is the shutter button I have decided to use on both my X-T2 and X-E3. I have tried plastic, metal and wood shutter buttons, but like this the most. The diamond pattern is not identical to the pattern on the Fuji knobs, but I only noticed this bc I am obsessed. It looks beautiful and like it belongs there, either way.Read full review...
