Best printer!!

I love this printer, it's logical and easy to use. The drivers and software can be downloaded from the Canon web site, very easy to set up. It's the only printer I can find that has "auto crop" for scanning photo's, a huge time saver. Just make sure you plug it into a surge protector, I lost my first one because of a power surge. I was lucky enough to find another one on e-bay, as it is no longer available from Canon, why...I don't know, it's the best home printer they have ever made. All the newer home printers out there look and feel cheap, and do not have the features this Canon Pixma MX420 has. It works well with Windows 10 and stays connected to Wifi.Read full review...

Great Value for the money!

Great printer! I really like its design. The feeder is pretty slow, but alright. Its speed of printing is pretty fast in color and black and white. I don't like the scanning program. The ink is ok. I love the price, I paid $120. Set up was easy.

Great wireless printer at a super price.

I had so many machines sitting around the house that I wanted an all-in-one printer so I could eliminate a printer with a scanner and a separate fax machine. I have not used this printer that much but I do love the wireless scan option and the fact that I can also print wirelessly. The printer setup was fairly easy and the on screen printer icons are a big help. The fact that this printer comes with an actual paper user manual is a super big plus. I am happy with this printer so far and have not found anything to dislike about it yet.Read full review...

Superb value for price paid; would definitely recommend.

I bought it because of an article/chatter I read about it being sometimes cheaper to just buy a new printer than purchase the ink to some printers (as I already own a printer that is packed somewhere). This faxer/printer/copier did the trick. For a very nominal fee I upgraded the old printer that I always neglected to get new cartridges for. I made sure that ink for this particular model is cheap (it is). I like that it has an USB slot for easy handling of scans. I dislike that it takes a bit to (properly) shutdown, but it is a minor complaint in the grand scheme.

Great value for home use!

Easy to set up and easy to use. Great print quality.
Only downside - documentation claims that this printer works with Windows 2000. After several hours of searching, I'm pretty sure that the oldest drivers are for Windows XP.Read full review...

Good value for the money, but I would have done some things differently

I bought this printer to replace a Lexmark that had gone south. It seems to be slower than its precedessor but the speed is good overall. I do like the fax and the auto-feed but Canon could have done a better job on the duplex printing. The Lexmark automatically did a duplex, with the Canon I have to reinsert the pages manually - but at least it duplexes! In spite of the comparisons, I do like the printer and probably would buy it again.Read full review...

Great printer for home. Wireless capability is perfect for laptop users.

I bought this for my Mom. I got her a laptop and a MIFI to replace her old desktop and dial up (we have no cable where we live), but that meant she would have to take her laptop and plug in to her old printer whenever she wanted to print something. I saw this printer for a great price and that it could be used wirelessly. Came with driver disc and an instruction booklet on how to hook it up to the wifi. Had it hooked up and running in about 30 minutes. Works GREAT! I would highly recommend for homeowner use.Read full review...

Awesome printer! Great value for the money

I bought this printer as a backup for my older Canon MP610 I paid $69 a special price from Buy.com thru Ebay. The only disapointments are the cost of ink. It's not quiet printing & as fast as my MP610, but I'm not complaining the price makes up for it. It a fun printer and I like it even with it's short comings.
Between work & home I used Brother,Canon,HP & Lexmark. I find that Canon printers are the best printers. This printer has just about all the bells and whistles for the price.Read full review...
