Quirky but Fun - a good start to a new genre of participation games

Gunstringer is an interesting attempt to bring Action/Adventure games to the Kinect. One hand controls the character (left, right, jump over obstacles) while the other shoots the gun. Also included was Fruit Ninja - practice your karate on helpless fruit!
I was looking for games I could play on the Kinect with my son. While he has me in Gunstringer, I've got him beat in Fruit Ninja!
Downside: I feel like a dork flapping my arms to control the character and smash the fruit, but they are fun games.
Upside: Burn those calories with Fruit Ninja!
Comparison: I like it better than the Dance games, but don't be looking for indepth storylines. Overall, a good start to a new genre of participation games.Read full review...

It is a great video game for both the seasonal player and for kids as well. The kinect is a great tool that was created by x box and Microsoft. It lets you play the gun stringer controller free and you are the puppeteer. Control the gun stringer and get revenge on your old posse using the state of the art technology known as the kinect. I heard a few bad reviews but I never let that discourage me. I had fun with the game and enjoy playing it and will play a lot more. Great concept.

Fun game, for young and all

Fun game, for young and all. A different flavour to the Kinect games out there currently. Love the fact your finger is the gun. Kinect is better than PS3 Move.
