Great adventure film

I saw this in theaters when it first came out, and it's one of my favorite John Huston films. Great Kipling story, funny, old style adventure with an excellent cast. The blu-ray is a large step up from the DVD, but still has minor issues that probably have more to do with the source material than any problem with the transfer. It looks far better than it ever has, so if you liked this movie I'd recommend the upgrade to blu-ray.Read full review...

Good old classic!

I remember watching this with my grandmother when I was a child, it brings back memories. Two great actors, Michael Caine and Sean Connery. I love that the Bluray is also a book with photos from the movie.Read full review...

Caine and Connery are brilliant together,

Terrific piece by Rudyard Kipling. Connery and Caine are brilliant together as ex-military men, and Free Masons on a quest for adventure and riches. Soundtrack is wonderful and which I also own.
