Hard to believe, almost 20 years old!
This is a standard (not silver) proof strike dime from 1997. I like the perfect mirror finish on the field, and try to avoid any with a “milky” surface. Mintage was fairly high, 2.2 million, so nice specimens are plentiful and easy on the pocketbook. (Since 2007, mintage has dropped to under 1 million.) A perfect addition to anybody’s Roosevelt dime set, or a nice example of a modern proof dime.Read full review...
