Replacement vac filters
First off my Vac Stick is a 96 - not a 96B , either way the Original filter is supposed to be peeled away from the cage. ( because it's black plastic and black lining it's really hard to tell.)
<br>I highly suggest Crucial Vacuum use the unused space on the back of their label to instruct people to peel away the old filter around the cage and install the new one around the original cage.
Originally we just took out the old filter and cage and attempted to install the uncaged filter. not a good fit.Read full review...

You have to put these filter sacks over your plastic skeleton that the old sack is on. It is very hard to do. I used pliars to get it on. These sacks are made of a light ,low quality material. But, they were fairly cheap. I would not reccomend any ladies buy these due to the diffuculty getting them on the plastic skeleton.Read full review...

A hole in it on first use
OEM lasted forever with even washing it out. this filter is poor quality and even got a hole in it on first use. on the second and last filter and had to dig the ols OEM one out the trash as it is still better than these despite long usage.Read full review...

Replacemnet filter
The original filter was more like cloth. These are paper and lower quality but they work and are good value. They are hard to pull over the cage.

Inexpensive replacement to keep it working like new
You have to remove the "basket" from the old filter, and stretch it over the new one. Once I got past that step it worked very well
