My sister had this book and I had looked through hers. If you hate making that second sock this is the book for you. I'll admit that the first few rows were very confusing and if you've never knitted socks like this before (or only one or two pair of socks) then do the little sample socks using two different colors of yarn--I had my sister to help guide me through the first few rows!!! I have finished my first pair of socks and will start another pair very soon. The instructions are excellant--just follow step by step and there are also pictures of each step. Within 30 pages the technique of knitting 2 socks simultaneously on a long circular needle is explained and illustrated with annotated full color pictures, and then the rest of the book has illustrated and charted patterns.
