Nice quality and easy install

My 2006 E350 (pre-facelift) still had the original rubber seals on the mirrors. They had become brittle and falling apart. I bought these because they are not made in China. The quality is really nice. I was able to install them during my lunch hour without any issues. The parts come with a link to an installation video that is really helpful.Read full review...

Good Mirror Gasket, but will require modification..

Everything good except that the harness hole is to small. The rubber could have been a bit more pliable; we had to make the hole bigger to get the connections through it. So for 30.00 each, this should not have been an issue! But the gasket fits tight and does work good!Read full review...

Great product

I bought these to replace the rubber mirror seals on my 2006 E350. I was hesitant to buy these but then when I watched the video to see how easy to install they were, I bought them. I'm glad I bought them. They were just as easy to put on as the video described. They fit perfect!! If you have a first generation E-class (pre facelift) Mercedes these are exactly what you need.. I couldn't be happier. They are expensive for a little piece of rubber, but it saves the hundreds of dollars you would pay at a dealership to buy a mirror with new rubber.. Read full review...

This is the OEM replacement part to buy vs other

This is much better than the versions that cost half the price. The material is slightly different, fits and conforms to the mirror/body better, and the surface extra material from the molding is trimmed off cleanly. A lot closer to OEMRead full review...

Buy JUST The Gaskets!! Save $100's Not Buying The Two Mirror Packages!

PROS:
Fit PERFECTLY on my 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-320! My side-mirror gaskets rotted away years ago, leaving this big gap where water could seep into the door ... but I didn't want to spend $300+ for a new mirror, JUST to get the gaskets!

Watching the installation video allowed me to do it myself and saved me a few hundred dollars and tons of time because I did not have to have the dealership do it! It took me 15 minutes each to install.

The only tools you will need, is a "star" shaped screw or socket set, a plastic "pry tool" to open the inside door panel (DO NOT attempt to remove the plastic panel with a screwdriver or putty knife!!), a "mini" vice grip to release the mirror's spring, and a scissor, to expand the hole to slip the wiring clips through.

CONS: A little pricey - should be about $20 each, but with the money I saved, I can live with the $60!

Good quality gaskets, just buy these.

I am taking time to review this because the quality is actually very good.

I have no idea how to get the connector through the small hole. I'd imagine at the factory the connector was likely terminated AFTER the wiring was put through the hole, but I have no idea.

I made a slit through the hole and was able to fit the connector, while the rubber was able to form back to its original shape to protect the wiring. This seemed to work well.

Good value replacement part

Fits perfectly, easy installation. Necessitate to cut a small opening to pass the wires and then seal around the opening as described by the suggested video

Perfect fix for damaged rubber.

The video shows cutting the rubber to get the connectors through. I took the outer plastic piece off the connectors to make them smaller. Made a cone of thin but stiff plastic (think heavy duty report cover) and started it through the hole. Placed the connectors in the cone and pushed the plastic and connectors through. Use silicone and quite a bit of force. The rubber will stretch enough to get the connectors through.Read full review...

Buy these instead of the cheaper ones. Pay abit more for way more quality. Trust me, your doing yourself a favor.

I bought some $40ish dollar ones first. They were flimsy, the wire hole was centered and left a 'tent' like effect because the wires had to travel to the center to go through the hole. Only one side of the cheaper version secures to the metal bracket. These cost a not more, bit the quality is far superior. Do it right the first time. Get these, you won't be disappointed.Read full review...

SURE FITS all around.

well made mirror gaskets seals really good on all round the mirror cover so that no rain gets into the mirror circuit The rubber material seems very flexible for the partial detached wire harness to wiggle gently thru the harness hole .and to the proper position. Minor re-adjustment is necessary for better and complete fitting..Read full review...
