Yes to Yes 90125

This is an eclectic collection of typical Yes with all the classical influence and fusion kick that make this entire CD very entertaining...if you like Yes. 90125 is definitely a fan's album. It does contain the band's most commercially rewarding hit, "Owner of a Lonely Heart," along with the partially a cappella song "Leave It," which received some decent radio time, also.
If you appreciate music well written and very well played by some of the best musicians of the time (and of this time for that matter) then you are bound to find at least a couple of tracks to stir your soul.
Speaking of souls, Yes' music does tend to lean to the spiritual side even if it doesn't specifically mention God. I wish everyone liked this as much as I do.
It scores a 4/5. It doesn't get the highest rating simply because it isn't for everyone. I bought it because I wore out the cassette while in college in the '80s (getting my music degree) and found I just missed the music it holds.

One of decade's finest albums & Remastered version stil

Excellent service and condition and great wrapping during shipping. I would recommend this vendor. I gave a five star review for the original 90125 with the hits "Owner of a Lonely Heart", "Leave It" and "Changes". I also enjoyed the other staples "It Can Happen", "Hold On" and "Our Song." I also liked the bonus tracks, esp. "Make It Easy" sung by Trevor Rabin, "It Can Happen"/cinema version by Chris Squire and the power chord sound of "It's Over".
You get the classic sounds of the first 90125 and some quality bonus materials. This is one of the truly great YES CDs, and perhaps their last true masterpiece. Every note, every measure every nuance is positively creative, compelling and inspiring. All of their strengths are on display. This album sounded warm, full, layered and intricate when it first arrived. Its initial transition to CD was similarly amazing, but this remaster is astonishing!
The story is that YES had folded its tent after DRAMA. Squire and White had released a single and were contemplating their next move when they discovered Rabin. Tony Kaye re-surfaced and a quartet was born, CINEMA. It was Rabin who suggested a different singer and front man than he, and so Anderson walked back in, and YES reinvented itself. It was a heady trip from there on. The concerts had an energy and dynamic they never had before. They had managed to set themselves on a mission that would carry them through BIG GENERATOR, UNION, TALK before fizzling out again. Here, the music is just so terrific, the harmony and choir work so spot on, and the energy so undeniable that this is the benchmark for recreating yourself. Every single track, especially the a capella "Leave It" is thrilling.
It is remasterings like these that justify the entire process. If you know the msuic, you'll be stunned by how good this is. If you are curious about YES, well, it doesn't get any better than this. A Superb Recording in Every Respect.

Nice Remaster

Contains the 12" Mix of "Owner of A Lonely Heart" which makes this CD worth it. One of Yes' great 80's album. More different from their 70's sound, but still good.

It played favorates well. Was a gift for someone.

I was looking for a first CD for an older person than myself (well a little bit older than me)who really like "Yes", an older Rock Band of many members but kept its bass player.
I gave this person a CD player for thier first time ownership having heard they from them that they've never owned a CD. I wanted it new and unwrapped.

Well so far no complaints.
