Barbra Streisand Christmas Album

I got this disk for my mom. Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, since I was a baby, I woke up listening to this record. I'm 26 now so I don't wake up to it anymore but my mom still likes to play it while she puts up the Christmas stuff. Unfortunately, her record has gotten too old and it doesn't sound clear anymore. Barbra sings beautiful Christmas songs.

My one and only complaint is that they started off the disc with a jazzy version of Here Comes Santa Claus, and I AM NOT A JAZZ FAN. That was a rotten thing to do to me! So, now I just skip to track 2 really fast, and enjoy the rest of the recordings.Read full review...

Barbra at her best

I had this as a cassette and now I have it as a CD. It has all my favorite holiday songs. And with Barbra singing them, nothing could be better.
This is a true gem of a CD. Don't pass it up!

I particularly liked the slower songs, and the religious songs. "Ava Maria" and the "Lords Prayer" were exceptional. I also liked her version of"O Little Town of Bethlehelm".
