A compendium of quotes from one of Martin's best characters

This book belongs on the same shelves as _The Notebooks of Lazarus Long,_ as a compendium of the pithiest sayings from Tyrion Lannister, one of the best characters in the epic _Song of Ice and Fire_ series, and one of the best characters that George RR Martin ever made up.

The dwarfish lord Tyrion comes across as a wry, wise observer of the world, by no means afraid of discussing his dwarfishness (in that world, deformity is very much a social stigma, but that doesn't bother him) and unafraid to tweak the sensibilities of those around him with his snarky comments.

The book itself is illustrated, and it's clear that the illustrator is working from the books, not the TV show. Any fan of the series should give it a look.
