outstanding processor
great hypertransport 4000 MHz AM3 scocket works on many am2/am2+ motherboards, only 65W power usage. ~1/2 the cost of nearest intell competetion. 2 MB l2 cache can use DDR2 or DDR3 ram, depending on the motherboard. I have mine Clocked to 3.5 Ghz on stock cooling without any voltage adj. running between 35C idle and 41C under FPS (First person Shooter) load. overall a lot of bang for the buck. if you check your stats out you will find the game index in at most 10% differnt that even a high end quad core in everyday use. unless you are seriously multi tasking or doing heavy vidio editing this processor will take care of most any game and or task with ease as long as you have the ram and vidio card to handle it. did I mention LOW power consuptionRead full review...
Good processor. About 4 years old tech but still quite viable and speedy.
I am using this in a NAS4Free system. It easily supports the functions of the unit. It rarely gets to 50% busy. I do get occasional hangs while watching videos but that may be due to the file system, motherboard or something else. The CPU is ready to go and works well and cool. I have two of them. Best Processor in the class
This processor is great, runs very cool (28C Idle) on stock Fan, supports DDR2-667 to DDR3-1066, although doesn't have a L3 Cache works very good on graphics/video/compression applications, very decent for new games and every actual application, better the price, at 50dlls (easy) on eBay its a only win buy.Read full review...

Very good processor performs just as a e8400 in my opinion. Price and value can't be beat.When doing my homework on processors no one else can sell a processor for this price and value that amd does.
AMD Athlon II X2 250 3 GHz Processor
Great processor. Loads my games super fast. No reformat needed for the hardware change and my motherboard recognized the processor right away. A+ and 5 stars to AMD.
Have not used this processor yet....
I purchased this processor with the intention on using it for an HTPC or a Mini Windows Home Server. As of yet its still in the OEM Box Sealed waiting to be put to use.
