A fine budget laptop.

I got this laptop because of the i5-1035G1 processor and 1920x1080 display. Most laptops in this price range have lesser processing power and screen resolution. The i5-1035G1 has a max turbo frequency of 3.6 GHz and gets a PassMark score of about 7,960. I'm surprised at the great condition of the laptop. Being refurbished, there are a few scratches on mine near the keyboard, maybe the previous owner wore jewelry while typing. The screen has no scratches, and the exterior looks great. Also included was a 2 year third party warranty. I tested the battery. Setting the screen to half brightness, wifi off, speakers loudest, and highest power saving mode, I was able to play a 720p movie on repeat from the ssd for almost 9 hours. With the same settings and watching the same movie from Youtube with wifi on, the battery lasted over 6 hours. Though I'm very happy with my budget purchase, I wish I had spent a little extra ($75 price difference at the time) to get the backlit keyboard, IPS display, and two more USB 3.0 ports.Read full review...

Good System, Great Design, Excellent Price, Reliable Surely!!!

I found this device great for editing and checking my drone videos.
I was surprised how well it handled video editing and testing for the price.
I do not understand how it acquires it maximum speed but it is fast.
I used 2 major editors and found it quite fast for what I needed all the way up to the Mavic 2 Pro.
The Hasselblad is some camera and it handled whatever I threw at it very well.
Everything else about this refurbed system was like clean, brand new appearance.
For what I paid it is amazing as I have a very old acer laptop still running fine.
I have the original well cared for Lithium Ion battery in it as well.
I used the old one in many countries in my travels and it always works well.
Now I have an ever faster, better one to please me even more.
Acer makes great products and I treasure their systems even in an old PC I own as well.
Running windows 10 non s mode in both and they really do great.
THe old one is great to my surprise for over 1 year now as well.

Yeah, overall I like this computer; but I had to buy an external cd/dvd drive for it (and I still can't play dvd's on it as I could on my old Acer Aspire).

Ok but not good enough

On 2nd day of usage I started experiencing glitches such as having to hard reboot because of frozen computer and other freezes when doing ppt presentations. Not happy at all. The camera resolution isn't good at all.Read full review...
