Read it!
Spellbinding. No wonder he was our first poet laureate. And as a Kentucky native, he makes us proud. His use of the language is incredible.

A great story of American politics, but...
Wonderful story, and really well-written (won a Pulitzer award). But the same story could have been told more compellingly in 300 pages or so instead of almost 600.

All the King's Men
Robert Penn Warren won a Pulitzer prize in literature for this novel and once you read it, it is easy to see why. He fills the pages with a complex plot that grips the reader, and interlaces his story with eloquent dialog and poetic conclusions Jack Burden, the main character and narrator, stumbles upon about life, himself, and the people around him.Read full review...
