I absolutely love the book. It's a great songwriting tool. Whether it's Drop-D (easy, most people already know this one), or Open-G, you can learn so many different positions that aren't played as easily in standard tuning. I've already written a few tunes in different tunings and I love it. It's like a whole 'nother world opened. I've been playing for only a couple of years, but this is a huge help for songwriting. I checked out other books, and I think this one is the most complete, with easy to read chord diagrams and just about every possible configuration out there for alternate tunings. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes to play guitar, but doesn't want to be limited to standard tuning.Read full review...
