Nice, big backpack

I needed this kind of backpack, I use Canon 6D and 5D III cameras, 2 to 5 glasses and 2 Canon 600 ex II rt, can fit. 24 70 mm, 70 200mm f 2.8 II Is and 35mm and 50mm f1,4. That my usual set up for my backpack. Side zipped pockets, Like it a lotRead full review...

Well Constructed, but ...

The bag is of good size and seems to be well constructed and well padded, but the opening for the camera equipment is on the back on the pack, so you have to lay the b bag on it's face to open and access the equipment.

Also, the ad I saw said it would take a 15" laptop, but it is really set up for a 14" or smaller. I can get my 15" in there, but not in the sleeve intended for it.

All in all, a good bag - just a little different than what I was expecting or am used to.

Great, durable camera bag

I don't have a plethora of lenses, but wanted room to grow and padding and protection of my equipment, as humble as it is. Altura fit the bill perfectly. Very pleased!

Well made well thought out

The backpack is very well made. It has plenty of room for camera, multiple lenses, flash and so on. The way you access the main compartment is unusual. The zippered main compartment access panel is only accessible when the backpack is not on your back. While this makes it slower to get at your camera it also makes it highly unlikely that someone can remove anything from the main compartment without you knowing about it. This is a big plus when traveling on crowded subways and busses.Read full review...

A new home for my nikon.

This backpack is very well thought out. Only you can limit yourself as to how to adjust. More than plenty of space. Sturdy construction. Very fast adjusting stamps. My camera friends are amazed. The raincoat is a nice touch . The padding is a dream. You can sit down and lean against the back padding and fall asleep . Get one today!Read full review...

Bigger computer compartment

Thinking about getting the Altura Photo the Great Explorer .. Like the straps on the back to pull the backpack tighter to
Your body .. Only one I've seen with this feature .. Would like to
See a 15" laptop compartment in lieu of 13" laptop. I'm still
On the fence .. Haven't decided which backpack I want.

Plenty room, great padding, light weight, easily configured

Just the right size for for picky carry on regulations especially tour buses. Just as described, been out for one hike and pack was comfortable throughout. Really a best deal in its class!

Finally, an amazing camera bag!

As I have acrued cameras and lenses, every bag I have gotten previously just became too small. This bag has a spot for everything... and looks slick to boot! Thanks guys and gals!

It opens weird

The pack is a great size for storing all my gear but I do not like that it opens from the underside (the side against my back). I have to take it off to get to everything. Seems weird to me.
