Works great but one thing to be wary of!

If you've daisy chained a few DMX fixtures together, you've had the experience of a bad cable messing up your light show, or forgetting a fixture and trying to figure out where to insert it at the last minute, etc. Lots of hassles. A DMX hub makes that so much easier- I run two of them. One on each side of the stage. Everything plugs into these hubs, and its always easy to add another fixture, or if a cable is acting up it only takes out 1 fixture, not everything downstream. The thing to be wary of? There are TWO versions of this item, the regular "D6" and the "WiFly" version. Be aware of which one you are buying! The regular one cannot be used wirelessly, which is what I intended to do eventually. (The wireless one can work wired or wireless.) So don't make that mistake- be sure you're getting the model that does what you need it to!Read full review...
