Just like the old days, with one exception

The two movies are just like the old versions on VHS with ONE exception. In the first movie the scene where Fival is asleep on a bed of hay and is awoken by three homeless children mice. The three voices of the mice where dubbed over for god knows why. I don't like the new "bully" voices, the old children voices made more sense.

yeah, I'm an American Tale elitist I'll admit. But seriously, what was wrong with the older version of the voices?

Loved it as a kid and mine does too!

I just loved the movie and music and songs from the first American Tail and the second one picked up basically just about where the first one ended. I loved these movies when I was a kid and now that I have one of my own, I figured I will get them for her and she loves them! Esp tiger, the big goof cat. :) It is a really great family movie and it is good for all ages; it is not just for the little ones. Its a movie where the family can sit down and watch together and not have to worry about violence and such... I really recommend this movie!Read full review...

an american tail

i bought a double feature with an american tail on one side and fievel goes west on the other an american tail was about this mouse family that immagrates to america to get away from the cats but they find out there are cats there too the mice join up and get rid of the cats. in fievel goes west they get sick of the cats in new york so the go out west because they hear the cats are friendly but they aren't so they get together again and get rid of the catsRead full review...

An American Tail Double Feature DVD review

This was another one of those childhood favorites that I just had to have! Love this movie :p The second movie is ok, but as it usually goes, it isn't better than the first one. One Great Family Movie!

I fell in LOVE with this movie as a child. Now that I have my own I wanted her to enjoy it too. I think it has a very enjoyable story line and the characters are adorable. I also think just about anyone can enjoy this movie. I also like that both movies are included in one DVD. I would recommend any family to purchase this movie.Read full review...

Well American Tail Double Feature is just awesome. It has two very great classics in one. I used to watch both these movies as a kid and now I get to share them both with my son and he loves them also. He loves the little mouse and how they all talk. 2 amazing movies

ok i hope you have all seen the first movie. An American Tail is one of don bluths greatest movies about a mouse from russia coming to america. Beautiful story and songs. 5 stars! the second one people havn't seen as much but it was one of my favorites when i was little. its when the family is in america and they move out west. its a great kid cowboy movie. so both of these movies together is great.Read full review...
