Classic Vintage Rock that RULEZ!

I love these guys. Always have, always will. Being a musician myself, I appreciate their musicianship & showmanship. I saw them various times back in the mid 1970's & loved their shows too. AWESOME! A bit ahead of their time, Angel were glam rock lookers from head to toe but, unlike most of their fellow rockers, they could PLAY! And play well too. Every player in Angel was & is excellent. I should know. I only wish there were better quality videos of them available. There are but, only in old analog format and without a master tape it can't be updated to the current digial format.
Anyway, I highly recommend giving these beautiful guys a listen. If you love classic Rock mixed with soaring, lilting keyboards and powerful soaring & soulful vocals..you'll love Angel! "Rock on heavenly Rockers!!"Read full review...

ANGEL /HELLUVA BAND IS A 2 CD SET THAT COVERS THE BEGINNING HAIR BANDS THAT HAD GREAT ROCK LYRICS AND RIFFS. AMONG KISS , LEGS DIAMOND , ALICE COOPER THESE ROCK BANDS FROM THE U.S.A. ANGEL - The Good Kiss !!!!!

All I can say is if you like good old ROCK in the style of STARZ & KISS then this is for you ! ANGEL is a little more technical in their playing but not over the top ! One of my favorite songs starts off the first album it's called THE TOWER and it really rocks with the jammin guitars and pounding drums , the lyrics are in the style of LED ZEP ! This cd is REMASTERED AND SOUNDS GREAT ! Now if they would only do the other albums we would be all set ! Also they have the best band logo going period ! UP OR DOWN IT ALL GOOD !!! This is classic rock at its core. One of the biggest differences between classic rock and todays so-called rock, is that today all the "rockers" sound the same. Angel was unique in their day and rocked in their own style. They were discovered by Gene Simmons of the rock group Kiss and their debut self titled album came on the scene like a hurricane with all the power. Each of their five studio albums were great but they unfortunately never realized a great following.
