ok, again, the lady does protest way too much and it really does get annoying, but i know the future...... lol..... so i'll keep it shut.

oh and let me state again, you really need to read these in order to follow the relationships

she's dating richard, and we meet jason, who will be come very special to anita, infact he will get his own book...... something richard has yet to acheive....

100% Hooked

I known before hand that this book had three others before it, but it wasn't that big of a deal. There were a few things I felt like I was missing due to not reading the ones before it, but nothing very major that didn't allow me to enjoy the book. So I think it's safe to say you can jump in and read this without reading the others if you really wanted to.

I could not book this book down, and now I'm attempting to find the next book in the series. I'm really in love with this book.

I felt for the characters, got very into the storyline, and at some points I actually felt as tho I wasn't reading the book- but actually living it. Ms. Hamilton is a great writer, and this book is well worth taking the time to read.Read full review...

Amazing series!! Love the depth and facets of her her world! Anita Blake is such a great character, she really inspires you! The writing is top notch and the story really brings back the Vampire/ Werewolf scene with a newness and fresh feel that Anne Rice brought it so long ago... I've read the complete series of Laurell K. Hamilton Anita Black. They are all wonderful. Once you start at the beginning, you can't stop.
