Great noise cancellation, but sound is not any superior to other good-quality headphones at a much lower cost.

Nice headphones, but sound quality is really not that much more superior than my old Bose noise cancelling headphones.

A big problem that I will have to do some research on is the fact that they lose connection to my iPhone frequently. To remedy this, I just press down on the sound dial and it reconnects, but a real pain and should not be happening on something that costs so much.

I can say that the noise cancelling feature is superior to anything that I have found to date. Even running heavy machinery in my woodworking shop, I do not have to have the volume up any higher than usual to still hear what is coming from the headphones. Apple works best with Apple

The AirPods Max are awesome if you are an apple enthusiast and don't mind spending on it.
The sound quality is great (I am not an audiofile) but it sounds awesome. THey are a little heavy on the head after hours of having them on, but I don't know any headphones or earpods that are comfortable for hours on end. I have used Bose headphones before but they can't beat the noise cancellation of the AirPods Max. These headphones are very comfortable to wear and the battery life is incredible. Normally, the Apple AiPods Max is a terrific headset, far outperforming any other. The headset was advertised as new. Obviously, thinking I might save several hundred dollars on an unopened new headset, I naively ordered this. The headset was useless right out of the box. It turned out to be an unopened defective headset. The controls were pushed down to where there was hardly any play, and the headset could not be blue-toothed to anything. The volume control would not stop the music or skip tracks. Useless. The aware/noise suppression button made hardly any difference. Useless. The right headset was dead. Useless. Very good sound

I like their sound quite a lot, very comfortable for about 1-1.5 hrs. Then seem a bit too heavy, I start to feel the need to stop.

Appearance is beautiful, the only drawback I found was that just as you stop using them, if not careful, you risk to scratch on between both metalíc parts on the back/side of the earcups when preparing to insert them on its Smart Case.
