Apple macbook value priced

I was looking for a MacBook Pro for a special project. This one fit the bill. It came pre loaded with not only the Apple operating system but also Windows word, excel, power point and office. This was like getting two computers for the price of one. I have always loved Apple and the fact that they rarely if ever get a virus. I own only Apple products which makes it easy to sync them when posting photos from different products. I purchased the 15.4" model and it came very well packaged and is in exceptionally good condition for its age. There are no dents to the aluminum case and no dead spots on the screen. The keyboard is clean and reads good, the back light works as it should. The bottom of the case shows only very minor scuffs and all rubber feet are intact. The trackpad reacts well to the touch. The microphone works fine as does the camera and I have downloaded a dictation program that works extremely well with this Mac. Needless to say I got exactly what I needed for my project and am so very satisfied with my purchase.

awesome product, great product for the money

had a mac prior and liked it so much I decided to finally buy another, plus I want it to download photo's and do some graphics with it. so will use it to design. I use it for my musc video's also and music along with video downloads from my camera and photo library. I will be designing and manufacturing large format poster size photo's and my mountain scenes and old barns, buildings. Everything they said it was. GREAT

I purchased the Mac for Christmas for one of my daughters. I actually purchased 3 macbooks during the Christmas season. Of the 3 I purchased this one was probably 2nd best only because the best one had several extra programs. I mostly purchased it because it came with a speck case. Something else I didn't have to buy. Yippee!!! Screen was in tack no loss of pixels, great battery life, still holds a good charge. All in all a great purchase. Thanks for taking such good care of this macbook.Read full review...

Apple Macbook Pro-Amazing!

I love this computer. I bought it for photography and it is amazing! The screen pixels, color, brightness, make my photos crisp and easy to edit. Not to mention iphoto is amazing. This computer is easy to use, light so you can take it any where, and has everything one would need on it. I paid $710 for this computer and it was factory refurbished, and came with ilife 09'. It was well worth the price compared to other macbook pros that were used and didn't come with anything. It only has 2 GB Ram, which is completely fine because it still runs extremely quick. Once you MAC you never go BACK!! BUY IT, YOU won't regret it!!!

I have been a MAC user for a long time. I own an iMac and a Macbook Pro.
Apple products are honestly made of top quality materials and they always last way longer than Windows. Macs have the fastest responding time and are very user friendly. Whatever you need is just one click away. The touchpad is really smart, too. Although there are many people say Mac is bad and expensive for no reason, it's because most of them have not used one for a while. You can use a mac for a long time without needing to restart it or shut it down. Also over the past years that I have been using Mac neither on my macbook pro and iMac it has crashed. I know it is more expensive than Windows, but it honestly pays for itself. Don't be afraid and invest your money on something that will hold its value for a long time and you don't have to be afraid of any crashes or anything. If you still need to use windows, you can have windows on it too! so there are no other excuses ;)
But seriously a mac will keeps its value always high. You can still sell a 6 year old macbook more expensive than a windows laptop that you but today!!
Just buy it, I guarantee you won't regret it. Don't listen to windows lovers, because they are yet to experience MAC!!!Read full review...

Beautiful, comfortable (especially the CD tray front) reliable, but weak

I like the products from Apple. They are comfortable, beautiful, reliable and functional. Ideal for working with music. Maybe even buy it, but I have a request: look of the cabinet model year 2006-2008 in my opinion is perfect, it would be more powerful processor and memory expansion, at least up to 16 GB. Apple Macbook Pro

I was in need of a portable computer. My studies on the internet as well as advice from my oldest daughter, (been using Macs for years) prompted me to buy this unit. So far, this unit has satisfied all my needs very well. My only difficulties have been in learning the differences between the Mac and a PC. As I wasn't raised in the computer age, as my children were, the learning process is a tad slower than their's. All in good time I say.Read full review...

Happy customer

Wonderful machine... bought it as the center piece of my mobile recording studio. This is the older model of the Macbook Pro series (mid 2007 3rd generation), but will be upgrading to 2 internal Solid State Drives and 6GB of Ram. Just bought an Expresscard/34 for it too, so I can use an eSATA connection for my external drives.

I bought this model in particular because it has 2 firewire ports (400 and 800). I absolutely need the firewire port to connect my audio interface. The newer Macbook Pros have limited firewire connectivity... this model does the job extremely well despite being an older model. Plus, it has an Expresscard/34 slot for even more possibilities. All of the newer Macbook Pros, except for the 17 inch model DO NOT have the Expresscard slot.Read full review...

MacBook Pro 2007 does it all.

This is an excellent machine .. so good that I actually got rid of my desktop and use this exclusively! Fast, lightweight, bright colours on the screen, the only issue seems to be that it gets hot with extended use. I solved this problem by buying a laptop cooling fan set-up on Amazon for about $5. Why pay big bucks for a new MacBook Pro when you can get this model for so much less? I can't see where they've improved the design at all. Highly recommended.Read full review...
