Aluminum Powerbook A1139
This is the highest end of the powerbook aluminum series notebooks that Apple made. Even though it does not match the performance of today's Intel cpu's (not to mention huge memory banks of modern intel based laptops), it is the conomical thing to buy if you have a large investment in third party software that will run only on the powerpc macs. Until replacing that software becomes economically feasible (some of the software packages cost several thousand dollars, and replacing them would be a huge financial setback), this notebook will do just fine.Read full review...
Apple PowerBook G4 17 in. (M8793F/A) Mac Notebook
I own this product and purchased this for my daughter. We are Mac addicts, just cannot afford the latest. I am well pleased with Mac and have used them for years. I encourage my friends to use the auction process as I do in obtaining replacements.

Annoying part!
I needed the part for a friends computer and it just so happens that it is a rather part to find. Only 3 models of g4 laptops use this style of airport card and it will drive any tech nuts. Worked great, the seller was great and it arrived quickly.Read full review...

Compared to todays laptops standards, it still a very good laptop. It has such a beautiful large 17" display that makes seeing everything easier.
