My review of this iPad comes from my personal experience with used models, and should be taken into consideration when deciding to purchase. The 1st Generation iPad air is a good follow-up to the 4th generation iPad. The slender lightweight design, make it easier to hold for long periods of time. I don't notice any difference in the battery life, or screen sharpness compared to the older model. However, replacing the digitizer, takes more patients, and caution, due to the closer proximity of the LCD to the edge of the frame.Read full review...

Can not down load any thing. It keep saying you need an APPLE ID. But it will not ACCEPT one.

A good value if you aren't a demanding user

We bought this for our 9 year old's online school. Unfortunately, the OS doesn't support Google Meets, which is a problem, but it's a Google issue -- we knew going in that this would be an older IOS (this is 10.3.3 and her previous Gen4 iPad, which we had to return due to battery issues, was IOS 10.3.4, which did run the app). I got a great deal through eBay and am very happy with the iPad. My only issue is that it takes hours and hours to recharge and cannot keep up (with staying charged) with being used while plugged in. We purchased this 4th generation ipad because we were looking for a 2nd had decided to skip over the 3rd because of reviews and found the price on this one to be more than reasonable.

This is your next new Tablet!

We bought this for automotive navigation in other countries. I like that the internal GPS places us on the map and mapping software is extremely detailed. Being wi-fi, we don't have to pay for a cellular data package. By design, the Apple tablet could be easily dropped because of it's smooth round edges, so we're getting the Belkin Ultimate Keyboard/Case. The accessory will serves three purposes: a protective screen cover, keyboard, easy to hold edges and a stand. Nice to use at the house in all rooms. iPad Convert

I love Macs, have desktop and laptop, but couldn't see a reason to have an iPad, especially at the retail price of $500 or so. What could it do for me that my MacBook didn't? But for a little over $150 for the one-generation from latest version it was worth a try. And I now use it all the time. I like the portability and ease with which all my apple products: I Mac, iPhone & iPad 4th gen. can sync and use the same apps. I purchased a gently pre-used bundle that include his iPad w/retina display along with a Zagg Profolio back-lit keyboard. I added a Microsoft-like office suite: docs, Xcel, power point, saving to cloud, saving to my dcs for $9.99 & you can create new docs or edit ones from Drop Box & share with others. There are a few Microsoft-like apps for Offfice Suite: read carefully what you're getting, but, for me, the one I chose works fabulously. Oh. On my Office app for iPad, I can include photos, too.

Sure, there's a note -taking app already on the iPad, but if you're manipulating or sharing Word or pdfs quite a bit, as I do, as a mentor teacher, and a new hire coach, then you gotta get this Office suite app.

I had thought I'd purchase an apple laptop. This is better for me than a pricey apple laptop. And I can perform all the same functions. And I love the small size!Read full review...
