JUST IN TIME!

My 120GB ipod was unable to give me anymore satisfaction, as I had mess up the dock connector. This particular Ipod 120Gb, contains over 23 thousands songs and with the dock connector damage I can't power up to extract the songs. So I'be made a schedule trip to visit an Apple Store with reservation, this will be my first time visiting Apple. I also plan to register my New Ipod with them as well. But the item of which I purchased from you, is a beautiful piece of workmanship, I've never seen a thick 160GB before, as they are all slim, this is very rare and even more, it absolutely Nice. It took me some time finding out how to work itunes again, as it kept syncing my songs, but clearing the songs I already had on the ipod. That's how long I haven't used itunes, as my library was full. But truly the Ipod is wonderful and I guess I can say that my Jinks with electronic coming to me through the U.S. mail may just took a break, ThanksRead full review...

Love the extra capacity, but has some issues

I decided not to get the fancier iPod Touch, since I wanted an iPod with a large storage capacity to store alot of my videos. Having pretty much filled up my 80gig, I wanted to get the next largest iPod. A few months ago, I was surprised to find out that Apple had discontinued the 160gig in favor of a smaller 120gig. I'm still not sure why they did this, but I still wanted the 160, so I purchased a new one on eBay for much less than they were retailing for when they were available. I love the extra capacity even though about 10gigs is already used by applications on it. The new interface is graphically fancier than what I had on my 80gig, which is welcome, but may be taking up more memory than the previous interface. I don't really care much for the games that are on it, and probably won't get anymore, since I don't really plan on playing games with it. I hope I can delete them and free up some memory.

The only problem I seem to have with it is that some songs won't play entirely. They play for a few seconds, then it skips to the next song. I didn't have this problem with those same songs on my 80gig, so I'm not sure what about this new iPod won't allow those songs to play well. At first, I thought it was because the songs are downloads and not imported from cd's, but I know of one song, so far, that was imported from a cd. A cool gadget. So cool, I now own six! One for movies, the rest music!!!

I look back through the years to see how music and how its become more available for personal use. This makes me so glad to be in this current lifetime. Who would ever think you could carry your entire music or video collection in the palm of your hand. Sure is easier than lugging a bag, box or sack of: Records, Vinyl albums, 8-tracks, Cassettes, CD's. And how many times have you come across a really good song, go buy it only to find out you had it at home but forgotten it? Now I check my iPod, yep! I own it already. Easy to use, easy to catalog & search in multiple ways. The sound is so exquisite, I close my eyes and I'm back to the days when it was a hit or, I'm just floating on a cloud and the music is taking me there! I Love this gadget! I love technology! Don't worry about capacity , worry about transfers !!!

I've just bought an iPod Classic 160 GB,

Its a nice gadget and its my first iPod !!!
I really love it but I should say that SYNCING with iTune seems slow(actually its not slow but it isn't responsive) The other problem was that I couldn't synchronize Photos , contacts and calendar !!!

The speed of loading coverflows is not good since it use Hard Drive and RAM isn't enough for loading coverflows so fast!!!

Sound quality is perfect(a little bit low but better that other MP3 players), screen is bright.

Its unique advantage is its high capacity , If you don't use it as external HDD its enough for a life!!!

Battry life seems long enough for a week normal use(it depends of course), lets say 35hr !!!

Its a little bit expensive but it worth about the price !!!

I Love that you only need to charge it once every 3 days. Don't really need the note pad option,but this is ok too. I did find that after the first couple days ,this item seems to skip past the beginning of the music or podcast or whatever your listening to. A bit annoying, since your going to have to hit the back button to get to the beginning of any item your listening to. Otherwise, it is great.

Some great new features and upgrades to the iPod line..

This model is really a continuation of the original iPod line. They keep getting smaller, lighter, and better looking, while holding much more information.

This iPod's exterior isn't much of a departure from the earlier model, except for the anodized aluminum case which helps protect against the notorious scuffs from use.

The real meat-and-potatoes of this iPod is the new graphics and layout of the menus. The graphics and processing have been improved, so you feel like you're driving a nice Mac computer with that little clickwheel. Much of this can't be explained in a short review, but if you know Apple computers vs. PC's - you'll get the idea. And, of course in classic Apple style, it is all very intuitive which means you don't need much direction to get something done.

Invest in this iPod vs. the Touch model if you don't need wi-fi access or if you just want huge amounts of storage space.

Another day, another great iPod from Apple for the audiophile/commuter of tomorrow...

iPod Classic - 160GB Silver

This product is absolutely amazing. The 160GB memory storage is to die for! I will probably never be able to fill it all up, but I am so glad I have the ability to store so much media on my ipod.
The iPod Classic also supports several different video formats. Apple has updated some key features of the Classic to make it a stellar video player. With increased screen resolution, the iPod, while without the large screen of the Zune or Archos lines, is still good for watching video files or to view still images.
The iPod Classic is a good MP3 player that still has the great features that made the original iPod famous. With great storage capacity, long battery life and some upgraded features from Apple, the Classic is a good way to go for those who want more functionality out of their iPod.

160 GB iPod Classic

wanted to get my own before they all disappeared & I am so glad I did! This little Big iPod is just right for lot's and lot's of Music, a few videos & some Audio Books, especially if you're not really in the market for the latest gadgets & just want to have a simple to use, good looking MP3 player that will easily connect to your Mac or PC, plug in some good headphones or dock it to your Table Radio, all very easy & good looking to boot. Still a great value and not a bad way to back up your music as well.

Still solid performance and usability.

This product comes in very handy due to the space (160gb) It allows for a huge variety of music downloads and movies that I can connect to a dual screen assembly and drive down the road with. The battery life is excellent and it has it's advantages not being a touch type of gear thereby not making a mistake of choices. Even though the classic style is probably a dying breed, it still merits a good review for those who have a huge music depository and like carrying them around.Read full review...

Apple iPod classic 6th Generation Silver (160 GB)

I love the iPod Classic 6th Generation because have 160 gb and I can put my entire music collection on it, have god looking and a new and pretty user interface. This iPod have one negative thing but is not very important, this thing is that the iPod some times is a little bit slow when you interactive with it features. For example when you are playing music and you move the menu to see pictures the iPod sometimes not respond faster, but like I previous write here that is no very important. I decide to buy the IPod classic because I tasted some mp3 players and none are as good as this. The iPod have 160 gb and I put my entire music collection on it, and for that I can listen my music when I work, when I do my workout at the GYM, when I'm in my car driving I put the iPod in my car stereo and play the music on it (the sound is amazing). That thing is very good because there are many items made for iPod and its items can control it. Its so cool because when I drive I play it in my car stereo but when I am in my home I playing it in my home stereo too.
