To be or not to be Archos aint the answer to the question.
This tablet on first impressions hits all the right buttons but on closer inspection misses by a mile. Quality of materials and its response to touch are brilliant but that's where things stop. The "basic" android gingerbread operating system cannot compete with today's expectations not even being able to handle downloading the their own app store which most people expect as standard, and trying to upgrade to a newer version of android takes a computer whizz and even then the unit cannot handle 99% of what the android store has to offer. Running Music and film files are limited to where the music and films were purchased from so don't think you can just download and run all your CDs and DVDs to it cos it ain't going to happen. There are so many pit falls that I gave up in the end and sold my Archos Arnova G2 and I'm saving up for to buy a piece of fruit or something similar!Read full review...
good product but needs to have a update so u can do more stuff
Brought this product cause my old computer was on its last legs and brought this just in case it broke and had a back up computer.likes about the product is that it is very robust and the sound is very good and loud very good for listening music to bad thing is that it runs androide 2.1 which stops u from downloading apps from the app market and also watching youtube videos plus games on facebook,bbc iplayer and a few more other sites which use flash.compare it with other products what are out on the market today i would not rate it that mush if the sofware could be updated then this would be a really nice bit kit to have put does not compete with apple and htc tablets but the price was good for what u pay for.Read full review...
Satisfactory purchase - Archos tablet
I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my husband. I had seen a similar one and I know that my husband loves gadgets. It was an unwanted gift and I thought I had bought it at a good price.
