Great Improvement
I’ve been using escort detectors for a long time. This is the upgrade they’ve needed for the last 2 decades.. I’ve only used it for a few days but I can tell I don’t need to worry about it falling off the window going over train tracks anymore.

Looks great out of the box and seemed to fit my needs. However, I speculate that the suction cup material needs to be of slightly softer material. Despite good initial suction (I installed and pulled on the mount, which was initially very secure) the mount repeatedly fell off the windshield - once overnight without the detector installed and once during use while driving. The windshield was clean as was the suction cup and i tried several times to get it to hold reliably. I had sufficient slack in the cable (was not 'pulling' on the detector).Read full review...

Product is of good quality and works(kinda). Suction is great easy to put on and is solid. The issue is the metal piece that slides into the radar detector it doesn't clip into place. So you either have to put the radar at an angle which affects the purpose of the radar. Or other option is leave it on at the right angle hit the gas or speed bump and it falls off. Passport radar detector mount works well.

This product almost matches the one that came with my Escort Redline. Works Great and sticks well. Suction cup has a lock lever to maintain suction. I installed this one in my other vehicle and move the radar detector to the car I'm driving at the time. The cup mount has been up for about 4 weeks and still holding strong. Nice replacement
The low cost attracted me and I wasn disappointed the $30 sticky cup I purchased from escort started falling off after 6mos with any tempature change, every day in the summer. The first one of these worked so well I bought another to use with my Redline when I travel. I may buy two more to have one in every car......

I have owned a similar style of this suction mount for another brand of detector in one of my vehicles and they stay mounted for extreme periods of time in all temperature conditions. I purchased this to replace one of the light duty mounts that came with my other radar detector. The light duty mounts just don't compare to the strength of adhesion on the windshield.
