ASKING FOR FLOWERS * - Edwards, Kathleen

Hello,

I would buy this CD just for the song "Goodnight California". Please Go To Their Website KathleenEdwards.com. I personally reserve the term ARTIST for a Very select set of musical groups,{5} or so. This sound was assembled by MASTER ARTISANS. After buying this CD I found myself wandering in a guitar store thinking "What if..."
Thinking The way men think, using analogies and comparisons, these folks are like craftsmen. Someone that can build a home from digging the foundation to framing, wiring and plumbing all the way up to the weather vane on the roof top. That is how I see it and I hope you do to. It is a shame we must go to Canada for this sound. I only wish E-Bay had a rating above excellent.

Thanks,

BEN

Maybe her best yet

It's all about the songs... or rather the songwriter (Kathleen). In an age where style has often replaced substance, Kathleen Edwards is someone truly worthy of your attention. "The cheapest Key", "Oh Canada", "Scared at night", "Buffalo", "Run", etc, this CD is full of gems! Her band is once again amazing. This is the best CD I've heard since the release of her previous CD "Back to me".Read full review...

My first KE album

I had heard a short clip on the radio of Kathleen Edwards. I loved the melody and the earthiness of her voice. Unfortunately I don't think the album makes use of it as it should. Too much hard beat and too little softness. But another person may love it for all the reasons I don't.Read full review...

Kathleen Edwards

She's one of the greatest things to come out of Canada since ice hockey was invented. Get anything she does and go see her live if you can. You won't be disappointed.
